On the Art of Decision Making (HINT: ‘Hell Maybe’ isn’t a Thing!)
Let’s play a game.
Think of a time when you were a “Hell, Yeah!” about something.
How did you feel? Excited? Motivated? Energized? Determined?
Cool.
Now think about when you were a “Hell, No!”
What did you feel then? Determined? Energized? Defiant? Motivated?
Did you notice how a lot of the emotions are the same?
That’s because when we commit to a decision we’re infused with energy. ⚡️
BUT, when we’re hanging out on the fence about something, waffling back and forth, or trying to ignore the choice altogether, hoping maybe it will just go away…
Well, then we’re just leaking energy all over the place.
Eew. 😒
And what a waste, right? No wonder we feel overwhelmed and exhausted!
The fact is, most of the time we already know what we’re going to choose, we‘re just afraid to commit.
Like when you flip a coin and you’re totally hoping it lands on tails. 🤞
You’ve already decided.
It’s when we don’t trust our choice that all our energy gets sucked away.
Truth is, we make a million decisions a day and we’re pros at adapting as we get more information.
So…
What’ll it be, Traveler?
“Hell, Yeah.” or “Hell, No.”
Make the choice.
Because there’s no such thing as a “Hell, Maybe.”
