Psst… Your TO-DO List is an Energy Sucking Black Hole

Be honest, how long has some of that stuff been on your TO-DO list?

For many of us, the TO-DO List has been around as long as we can remember.

Back in the day, we scratched our List onto scraps of paper, then tossed them into a purse or a pocket.

As decades passed, our ways to track The List evolved and we had better ways to organize it with the "Executive" planner, the digital planner, the desktop planner, the phone app.

Yet even with all the advances in technology, the List continues to grow - because we fear that “without it, nothing will get done.”

That’s NOT true, though! You crank out a ton of things Every. Single. Day.

You just don’t notice or think to give yourself credit for them, because you're so used to focusing on “what ISN'T done.”

Face it, your List is a never ending, motivation-sucking, energy-leeching, guilt-tripping, inanimate meany-pants that keeps you trapped under a choking smog of “Yeah, but I didn't…” or “But, I should be…”

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes we can’t remember why we walked into a room and need a prompt from a sticky note. I get it! 😁

But that’s way different than waking up every morning with your energy bucket punched full of holes and half drained because you feel like you’re already way behind.

Here's a fun idea...

What if you start keeping a “TODAY I DID” list? You could make quick notes as they happen.

(You can even speak your note into your magic phone app while you’re driving in your car. HUZZAH!! 🎉 )

Imagine savoring your very own "I am SUCH a Badass!" moment when you see ALL the things you’ve accomplished, right before you close your eyes tonight.

Going to bed feeling successful instead of anxious means you’ll sleep better, and sleeping better makes it easier to adapt to the daily surprises that are just part of humaning.

You get to wake up refreshed, with your motivation bucket full to the brim, all ready to see what you’ll get to celebrate on this brand new day!

That, my dear friend, does NOT suck! 🙌🏽
